W roku 2007 osiągnięto w niej głębokość 2190 m. Eksplorowana była głównie przez ukraińskich i rosyjskich speleologów, część w ramach projektu „Zew otchłani” wspieranego m.in. przez National Geographic. Znajduje się w masywie Arabiki. A sua entrada situa-se a 2.240 metros de altitude e a 15 quilómetros do mar Negro. Está localizada no Maciço Arabika, na Abecásia, uma república independente da Geórgia, na região do Cáucaso. A mesma caverna marcou o recorde prévio para profundidade a 2 080 metros em 2004 por uma russo-ucraniana. Em 2004 a profundidade penetrada foi aumentada a cada de três expedições. Em outubro de 2005, uma parte nova, inexplorada foi encontrada pelo , e a caverna ganhou profundidade. > pt data from Internet  , Voronija (Grubera-Voronya) je vysokohorská propasťovitá jeskyně, nacházející se na krasovém plató Arabika v Abcházii (částečně uznaném státě nárokovaném Gruzií) v horách Západního Kavkazu. První část pojmenování je odvozena od příjmení ruského geologa . V současnosti se jedná o druhou nejhlubší známou přírodní jeskyni na světě (2190 m). Maximální hloubky bylo dosaženo v srpnu 2007 ukrajinským speleologem Gennadijem Samochinem. Vchod do jeskyně se nachází ve výšce přibližně 2250 m n. m.
